How To View a Contact's Campaign Tracking Activity

If you want to see which marketing campaign a contact came from you can view this information in the contact's details. Depending on the type of web form you are using will determine how the information shows up in your CRM. To learn how to view this information please follow the instructions below. 

If you are using a web form that requires a name then follow the instructions below to access the contact's information. 

  1. From your account's Dashboard, click on Contacts.

  2. Click on the name of the contact you want to view the Campaign Tracking activity for.

  3. Click on the Tracking tab inside of the contact record.

  4. After clicking on the Tracking tab you will be able to see the details on which marketing campaign this contact came from.

If you are using a web form that only requires a single property field then the contact information will show up differently in your CRM. After the contact submits the property information the contact will be added to your CRM as a "pending" contact. Pending contacts have the "View | Assign" options indicating that there is not any contact information available. If you send the contact to a follow up form, such as a thank you page, that requires more information then the property information will automatically carry over. 

  1. From your account's Dashboard, click on Contacts.

  2. Once you're on the Contacts page you will see when someone submits just property information, and no other contact information the contact will now be listed in your CRM as a pending contact labeled View | Assign Contact+. Click on View | Assign Contact+ to open up the contact record.

  3. Once the contact record is open clicking on the Tracking tab to view the Campaign Tracking details.

  4. All of the Campaign Tracking data is collected in the contact record and the property was added to your Property Pipeline.

  5. If you opted to send the contact to a follow up form that requires more information, the contact record in your CRM will be updated with the new contact information once it has been submitted.
