Text Broadcast: Overview

Text Blasts allow you to send a text message to a contact or a group of contacts in your account. Text Blasts can be used as a marketing strategy, or to send a reminder/update to contacts. To access and send a Text Blast follow the instructions below.

  1. From your main dashboard, click on Marketing and select Broadcasts from the drop down menu. Screen_Shot_2019-07-12_at_23.36.56.png

  2. Select Text Blast as the type of blast you'd like to send to your contacts.

  3. In the next box that pops up select the Profit Dial number that you want to send the text blast from.

  4. Choose to send the text to either of the following by clicking on the dropdown menu:
    1. Individual Contact

    2. Tagged Group

  5. Type in the message of the text on the space provided. You have the option to add the following to the text message.

    1. Merge Fields - uses the information already available in the contact record.

    2. Landing Pages - provides short links to your landing pages. 

  6. You can opt to have a text blast scheduled by providing the date and time on the space provided. If you want to send the text blast immediately do not fill out anything for the date and time. 

  7. After you select the date and time to schedule the text blast, or you want to send the blast immediately, click the Continue button to proceed with your text blast.
  8. The next pop-up window will show the status of this text blast. After reviewing the summary, click the Send Text Blast button to send the text blast. Screen_Shot_2019-07-16_at_3.42.48_PM.png
  9. After clicking the Send Text Blast button another box will pop up letting you know the blast was sent. Screen_Shot_2019-07-16_at_3.45.51_PM.png
