Common Questions Regarding Google Sync

Below are some of the common questions you may have regarding you Google Calendar sync.

Why are some of my tasks not showing up?

All of your tasks will show up on your Google calendar immediately upon your initial sync when you add the calendar URL.  

After your initial sync and set-up, you may not see new tasks added into your REI BlackBook account immediately.   Don't worry, Google will automatically sync your tasks several times through out the day.  

For best practices, we recommend that you add tasks be completed at least one day in advance so that the tasks will be synced before the day it is due.  According to Google, it might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.

Why is my calendar name now showing in Google, it only shows the URL?

If your calendar name is not showing up inside of Google and it is just showing the URL after the initial sync don't worry.  It is just making its way through Google's system and will be update upon sync.  One tip is to refresh the calendar page within your web browser.  Most of the time it will update right away upon refresh.
