Hey there! Setting up a web form in REI BlackBook is super easy and can really help with your landing pages, web pages, or blog posts. Let's dive in!
Objectives
We're going to create a custom web form that you can use to gather info from your visitors. This can be a game-changer for your online interactions.
Steps
- Start Off: Log into your REI BlackBook account and head over to 'Web Tools' and then 'Web Forms'.
- New Form: Hit the '+New Web Forms' button to get rolling.
- Name It: Give your web form a catchy name and click 'Create Web Form'.
- Build It: In the Web Form Builder, you'll find 5 sections to play with.
- Add Fields click the chevron-down icon to expand this this section
- Drag and drop the fields to the right side of the page to complete your form.
- Put a check on the box beside Required if you need this field to be required before submission.
- Click on Save Field
- Drag and drop the fields to the right side of the page to complete your form.
- Form Details (click the chevron-down icon to expand this section)
- Update the Form Name or Label Position. Note: Form name is only visible on your end.
- Put a check on Enable Captcha to include captcha field at the bottom of the webform.

- Run Workflow (click the chevron-down icon to expand this section)
- Select an Workflow from the drop down menu.
- Select how you want to handle duplicate contacts.
- Update the email address that you want to receive notifications at.
- Click on Save when done.
- Select an Workflow from the drop down menu.
- Customize Thank You Page (click the chevron-down icon to expand this section)

- (Optional) Get Code (click the chevron-down icon to expand this section)
- If you want to post your form on an external webpage such as a website you have with another company you can do so by grabbing the embed code of your form. Then simply copy and paste this code into the external page.

- Finishing Up: Once you're done, hit 'Done' and then 'Publish Changes'.
