Let's Create New Contact Fields
A contact field is a property within a contact tab such as an address, an email, a phone number, etc. With a custom contact field, you can create your own property to add to your contact tabs.

Steps
1. Log in to your account. Click on your name located in the upper right-hand corner of the page. In the drop-down menu, click on System Settings.
2. You will be directed to a new page. Under the System Settings menu, located on the left-hand side, click on Contact Fields under CRM.
3. You will be directed to your contact field management system. There will be a list of already created contact fields.
To create a new contact field, click on Add New in the upper right-hand corner.
4. A pop-up box will appear. Browse through the variety of field options and click on a field option that you want to create.
- Text Field: Click on this option to create a custom field to include unique information about your contacts.
- Numeric: Click on this option to create a custom field to include a piece of data that involves numbers for your contacts.
- Multi Option: Click on this option to apply multiple options.
- Single Option: Click on these options to apply one option.
- Phone: Click on this option to include telephone information for contacts.
- Email: Click on this option to include email information for contacts.
- Date: Click on this option to include date information for contacts.
- Date & Time: Click on this option to include both date and time for contacts.
- Address: Click on this option to include address information for contacts.
5. Once you have selected a field option, you will be directed to Add New Contact Field.
Under Enter name of the field, click on the box and type in the name of your custom contact field.
Optional: Under Help Text, click on the box and type in a message explaining your custom contact field.
6. You can change the icon that is associated with your custom contact field. Next to Icon, click on the existing icon.
A pop-up box will appear. Browse through the list of icons and click on the icon of your choice.
7. You will be directed back to your Add Contact Field. When you are finished, click on Save.
Your new contact field will be added to your contact field management system.
8. Let's add your new contact field to your default contact tab. On the left-hand side, click on Contact Tabs located under CRM.
9. You will be directed to your contact tab management system. You can add your new contact field to your any of your existing contact tabs that are set as default.
To add your new contact field to your default contact tab, click on the three dots located right-hand side of the tab.
In the drop-down menu, click on Edit.
10. A pop-up box will appear and you will be direct to Customize Contact Tab. Click on +Add A New Field.
11. A pop-up box will appear. Click on Existing Field.
Under Choose An Existing Field, click on the box and type in the name of your new contact field. Then, select it.
Note: You can add more than one contact field at a time.
12. Then, click on Add Fields when finished.
13. You will be directed back to Customize Contact Tab where you can see your new contact field has been added.
Then, click on Save.
Your new custom field is now located inside your default contact tab.
