But, like any other marketing channel in order to receive the benefits from a text message campaign, your messages have to reach the consumer, and this is something that business owners who use text messaging as a marketing method have been experiencing issues with.
Cell phone carriers (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, etc.) appear to be using adaptive software systems to protect their users (consumers). These systems are looking at both message content and volume, and behave very much like email filtering systems.
