Let's Send A Text Blast

In today's society, you can't go anywhere without seeing the majority of people staring down at their phones. 

This is exactly why using Text/SMS is one of the most effective marketing strategies because people pay attention to text messages.

You can easily send a Text Blast (Broadcast) directly inside of REI BlackBook. Whether you are sending a text to an entire tagged group or select individuals, the process is simple and quick.

Objectives

In this support article, you will learn step-by-step how to send a text blast. 

Steps

1. Log in to your account. Click on Broadcast located at the top of your dashboard menu under Campaign Tracker.

2. A pop-up box will appear. Click on Text Blast. 

3. You will be directed to Blast Details. Under Send From, click on the box and select your Profit Dial number.

4. You can select individual contacts. Under Send To Individual Contacts, click on the box and select your contacts.

5. You can select contacts by their tags. Under Send To A Tagged Group, click on the box and select your tags. 

6. Under Message, click on the box and type in your message.

You also can click on Merge Fields to insert information about your contacts, and click on Landing Pages to insert information about your landing page/website.

7. To schedule out your message, click on Schedule. Then, click on the boxes to select a date and set a time.

8. When you are finished, click on Continue. To go back, click on Back.

9. You will be directed to Blast Summary. Review your blast summary and message.

10. When you are finished, click on Send Text Blast. To go back, click on Back.
